The Quilt of Anxiety explores the friction between comfort and dread, utilizing the traditional craft of quilting to map the modern landscape of anxiety. The quilt is comprised of individual printed cyanotype squares and stuffed with fiberglass insulation, thistles and stinging nettles. By shifting the imagery from comforting traditional patterns to a catalog of unease, the work visualizes how anxiety permeates the fabric of daily life
